Lunch with Iron Man

I Had lunch with Iron Man the other day,
He told me that he simply could not sleep in these times,
That the drinking did'nt stop the threat of the crimes.
Iron Man explained that in the good old days all that was wrong could be solved in 13 frames or less...
But in today's world the heart and the mind was more suited as a mess.
The sad fact, said Iron Man, is that the violence has just gotten too broad
No longer does the idea that a man alone can change the world resonate...
Iron Man said that the colors were not vibrant anymore, that Mr. Lee would never have sketched these things in an issue.
These atrocities are problems of those with no heart....then he asked for the tissue.
How do things get so bad that even our superheroes cry ?

******This blog doesn't really have any deep emotional meaning. I just thought of this while sitting in my Latino Lit class and thought it would be neat to kind of expand. I also love comics and the new Iron Man movie just came out. By the way readers if you have not seen this movie, stop reading my blog and go to the Blockbuster and rent it.
Truly however, we have a lot of violence in our world and our community. What the world needs is heroes. Whether they come in the form of billionaire playboys with iron suits and advanced technology, or just the dude that goes the extra mile to help you when you run out of gas. I ask that anyone reading this just take a moment everyday to say thank you to anyone that helps you.
